Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the Furivo app (“Furivo”, “the app”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use it. Furivo is a pet health and care app that helps you manage your pets’ records, reminders, and daily care.

In short: Furivo is designed to keep your data on your own device. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not have a server that stores your pet records.

1. Information You Provide

You may enter information into Furivo to use its features, including:

• Pet profiles (name, species, breed, birthday, sex, microchip number, weight, allergies, insurance and emergency contact details);
• Health and care records (vaccinations, medications, medical visits, symptoms, diagnoses, costs, feeding, bathing/grooming, and similar entries);
• Photos you choose to add (e.g. pet avatars, album photos, and attachments to medical records);
• Expenses and reminders you create.

This information is stored locally on your device using Apple’s Core Data framework.

2. Photos

Furivo can access your photo library only when you choose to add a photo. Selected photos are stored within the app on your device (and synced to your private iCloud account if iCloud Sync is enabled — see below). Furivo does not upload your photos to us or any third party.

3. iCloud Sync Optional · Off by default

Furivo offers optional iCloud sync so your data stays consistent across your own Apple devices and is backed up. This feature is turned off by default. When you turn it on in Settings → Data → iCloud Sync:

• Your data is mirrored to your own private iCloud database using Apple’s CloudKit. It is associated with your Apple ID and is not accessible to us.
• Apple processes and stores this data under Apple’s Privacy Policy.
• If you leave it off, Furivo behaves as a purely local app and does not touch iCloud.

4. Notifications

With your permission, Furivo schedules local notifications on your device to remind you about vaccinations, medications, grooming, birthdays, and similar care tasks. These reminders are generated and delivered on-device and are not sent to a server.

5. Face ID / Passcode Lock

You can optionally protect the app with Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode. This authentication is handled entirely by Apple’s system frameworks on your device. Furivo never receives or stores your biometric data.

6. Analytics & Diagnostics

Furivo uses Google Firebase to help us understand usage and keep the app stable:

• Firebase Analytics — aggregated, app-usage statistics;
• Firebase Crashlytics — crash and stability diagnostics;
• Firebase Remote Config — remote configuration of app settings.

These services may process limited technical and usage data (such as device model, OS version, app version, and crash logs) in accordance with Google’s Privacy & Security in Firebase and Google’s Privacy Policy. This data is not used to identify you personally and does not include the contents of your pet records.

7. How We Use Information

Information is used solely to provide and improve the app’s features — storing your records, showing reminders, syncing across your devices (if enabled), and diagnosing crashes. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information for advertising.

8. Data Retention & Deletion

Your records remain on your device until you delete them or uninstall the app. You can delete individual entries at any time within the app. If iCloud Sync is enabled, deleting data on one device removes it from your iCloud database and your other synced devices. Uninstalling the app removes its local data from that device.

9. Children’s Privacy

Furivo is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
